The Nepean Redevelopment will deliver contemporary and expanded hospital services and integrated community health facilities for the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. Located in Western Sydney, the redevelopment is being carried out in stages. The NSW Government has committed $550 million to deliver Stage 1 and $450 million to deliver Stage 2, which includes a large child care centre.
The tender to build this new childcare centre was awarded to Donnelley Constructions, who began work in mid-2019.
Throughout the construction project, the NSW Government wanted to promote its funding and commitment to the project and inform the public about how to find out more. Donnelley Constructions were required to promote the government’s logo on the site hoarding and sought a banner mesh supplier near Penrith who could produce a high-quality fence mesh with a quick turnaround.
Donnelley Constructions approached Fence Banner Mesh as a banner mesh supplier near Penrith, with our print facility located close by at Arndell Park.
Donnelley Constructions ordered six rolls of open weave fence fabric to fix on the site hoarding at Penrith’s Nepean Hospital site. Totalling 300 metres, the banner mesh featured a simple NSW Government logo and text about the project.
Open weave banner mesh comes in a standard 50-metre roll that measures 1.6 metres high. It is also available in 1.8 metre high rolls. Open weave fence fabric also known as scrim is the ideal solution for high wind or coastal exposed sites. This open weave style prints with the same high quality as our premium fence fabric, but the 50% block-out allows wind to pass through without acting like a sail.
This banner mesh is designed to be reusable and transported between sites, with a shelf life of up to two years. The UV treated polyester mesh is easy to handle and install on site hoarding, chain link fencing or temporary construction fencing.
Because we are a banner mesh supplier near Penrith we can deliver fast to our local area, including all of Western Sydney. Our head office in Arndell Park features a professional printing facility where we can print kilometres of custom-designed fence mesh for our customers.
Donnelley Constructions is set to complete the childcare centre in mid-2020.
