read moreCivil contractors Delta Group have recently secured a $30 million contract for works on Walker Corporation’s $500 million development at Adelaide’s Festival Plaza. Delta will be on site for over 14 months, moving an estimated 130,000 cubic metres of material from the area. The focus of this contract is a new 1600-space, 5 level underground carpark.
The original Adelaide Festival Centre car park was closed in 2016, making way for construction of the new car park and the first section of the new public plaza, which is expected to be completed by 2020. In preparation for construction of the carpark, Delta Group is drilling 15 metres into the ground to prepare the site.
The site is surrounded by many existing buildings and busy pedestrian zones, and Delta needed a fence covering to ensure dust and debris would not escape into the neighbouring area. The iconic site in central Adelaide was also a favourable location for maximum advertising exposure.
Therefore, the project managers sought to purchase a printed fence fabric in Adelaide that would offer a combination of privacy, branding and dust control.
To promote their involvement in this major project, Delta Group chose to use 300 metres of custom printed fence fabric in Adelaide, to maximise their brand visibility at the site.
Fence Banner Mesh supplied 6 x 50 metre rolls of printed fence fabric for Delta to install around the perimeter of the Festival Plaza site. The 1.6 metre high premium printed fence fabric allows for 80% block out, ensuring privacy on-site as well as controlling excess dust and debris and keeping it within the boundaries of the site.
Printed fence fabric comes in a standard 50 metre roll however shorter or longer lengths are also available, in either 1.6 or 1.8 metre high mesh. Supplied with eyelets at 1 metre intervals, it is easy to fix to temporary fencing or cyclone fencing with cable ties.
This mesh is made from a strong 280gsm UV treated polyester mesh that is easy to handle and install. The close-knit mesh offers 80% fabric coverage with 20% air breathability, allowing wind to pass through without the mesh acting as a sail.
Delta Group chose a large bold logo in their corporate colours, which is repeated for maximum effect on this fence fabric in Adelaide. Our premium banner mesh is equally as effective at reproducing more intricate designs and photos.
